Updates

    Hey y'all!

Hard to believe we are wrapping up our third week of swim season already!  Just a few things I needed to bring to your attention...

In an effort to make the most of our time with the swimmers, we need your help with the following:

    1.  Please keep the walkways around the pool completely clear so that the coaches can get around as needed.  It would help us tremendously if parents didn't stand at the pool edges to watch.  Take a seat and relax! :)

    2.  For the safety of everyone, chairs for parents and siblings should never be set up at the start and finish ends of the pool.

    3.  Please leave the coaching to us for the brief time we have your children each week.  If you want to give them pointers or feedback, please wait until after practice to do so.  It is a distraction to your child and to others when a parent is instructing the kids at the same time that coaches are talking.

    4.  Swim Caps are a MUST for all swimmers with hair longer than a "military cut".  If you don't have one, we have team caps for sale at practice for $15 and the HSC office has solid colored caps for $9.  Beginning today, any swimmer without a cap will not be able to practice.  This policy is in place to protect the pool's filtration system so that the water is as clean, clear, and sanitized as possible for everyone! Not to mention, it makes kiddos swim faster!

    5.  Bring goggles! We don't usually have extras for swimmers to borrow! You wouldn't show up to baseball practice without a glove, right?! Goggles are a big part of a swimmer's "uniform"! Please come to practice prepared!

    6.  Don't forget that we have a PARENT'S MEETING on June 3 at 1:30 at HSC Sugar Land!

Thanks for your help in making each swim practice as efficient and smooth as possible!

    Coach Tammy
