As you know, the Houston area is expecting intermittent storms this week. Here's how we operate swim team during inclement weather:

• 45 min before the first practice is scheduled to begin, we will update Facebook and website AND send out an email to let you know if practice will be held.  During May, our first practice starts at 6pm.  So, we will make the decision at 5:15.  
• We will base our decision on: 
  • what the radar looks like (Is it temporary? Will the weather get worse?
  • is it safe to swim
  • is it safe to ask people to drive to the pool
• Once the decision is made, we will not change it.  
• If there is no update on Facebook or the website, chances are good that practice is ON AS SCHEDULED! 
• Please avoid calling HSC for an update.  Check with Facebook, our website, or your email!
