FINAL WEEK OF THE SEASON INFORMATION:

We are now O-FISH-ALLY in our final week of the season! I would like to explain how the next week works!  

TOMORROW, 7/2/21-FINAL DONUT DAY

MONDAY, 7/5/21-NO PRACTICE

TUESDAY, 7/6/21-MEET OF CHAMPS FOR EVERYONE (see below)

WEDNESDAY, 7/7/21-NO PRACTICE

THURSDAY, 7/8/21-PRACTICE FOR ALL STAR QUALIFIERS 8am-9am

                    TEAM PARTY/AWARDS 7:00-8:30PM 

FRIDAY, 7/9/21-ALL STARS FOR ALL WHO QUALIFY (see below)

MEET OF CHAMPS/ALL-STARS INFO:

• At MOC, All swimmers will swim in all individual events in which WE KNOW they won't get disqualified--NOT JUST TWO events for this meet! We will also have Medley and Freestyle Relays in each age group when possible! This meet will be a little longer than regular meets.  Please bring water and a few snacks for your swimmers.  WE WILL START warm-ups for 10 & Unders at 5:00pm and meet will start at 5:15pm. NEED EVERYONE TO DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS AVAILABILITY FOR MEET OF CHAMPS!  PREFERABLY RIGHT AWAY!
• Warm-ups for 11 & Older swimmers will start at 6:45 and the meet will start at 7:00pm.  Again, bring water and snacks.    
• All of the times from our team and from across the league will be submitted to the league immediately following the conclusion of our meet.  Those times will be entered into the league database and results will be tallied to see who qualifies for All-Stars.  Our league is split into 3 divisions. The first place finisher in each division, in each event/age group, will automatically qualify for All-Stars.  There will also be 13 "Call-Ups" in each event/age group from across the league.  That means the next 13 fastest times in each event/age group, after the "auto qualifiers", will be "called up" to swim at All-Stars.  WE WON'T KNOW WHO QUALIFIES AS A CALL-UP FOR ALL-STARS UNTIL 7PM ON WED 7/7, AT THE EARLIEST. WE WILL LIKELY KNOW THE AUTO-QUALIFIERS BY 1PM ON 7/7.
• Once we know who has qualified for All-Stars, those swimmers will be needed at practice on Thursday, 7/8/21 at 8am.  

TEAM PARTY/AWARDS INFO:

We will have a team get together with desserts and swimming on Thursday, 7/8/21 from 7:00-8:30pm.  The pool will be open for swimming from 7:00-7:45 and then around 7:45pm, we will begin a brief awards presentation.  Trophies will be given out to all of the swimmers with a few other awards. We have a surplus of "retro" swim team shirts from years past and will be giving one to each of the swimmers. We will also have some available to sell to anyone who wants to purchase them, while they last.
