HERE WE GO!!! Believe it or not, our first meet (albeit a very unconventional meet) is NEXT WEEK!!!  

Here's the scoop:

Next Tuesday, 5/24/22,we will have our first swim meet AT OUR POOL! Everyone needs to arrive by 5:45pm.  Warm ups will begin at 5:55 and the meet will begin at 6:15pm.  THIS MEET WILL BE VERY LOW-KEY AND VERY FAST!  We plan to be completely finished by 8pm at the latest! It will only be our team in attendance at this meet.

We realize that most of our kiddos are still in school next week so we want to finish quickly and get everyone home as early as possible! There will be no relays and no IM's or Butterfly.  We will have 3 events-Freestyle, Breaststroke, and Backstroke.  All of our swimmers who are 10 and younger will swim 2 of those events, and swimmers who are older than 11 will swim all 3 events.

ALSO...Texas Swim Shop will be at the pool that night to sell our team suits.  They will be set up by 5:30, so arrive a little early if you are interested in purchasing anything from them.  

This will be a great way for our new families to experience what swim meets will be like.  We will be having a brief parent meeting during warm-ups to explain the plan and I will be available at the meet to help out with questions!  

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO???

"Declare" your swimmer!  Here's how:

***PLEASE "DECLARE" YOUR SWIMMERS FOR THE MEET ON TUESDAY! I NEED TO KNOW WHO WILL BE COMPETING AT THE MEET! For those of you who are new (or forgot from last year):

• Log in to your account on our website
• Click on "TEAM SCHEDULE"
• Choose May 24 meet
• Click on green box "MEET ENTRY"
• Click "EDIT"
• Choose "attending" or "not attending"

THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE BY MONDAY AT NOON, AT THE LATEST!!!
