Meet Information for Stafford Stingrays vs. Sharpstown Stingrays - June 15, 2026, 

Location: 1355 Constitution Ave, Stafford TX 77477

Meet Timeline

• 4:30 – 5:15 PM – Warm ups Both teams (Stafford 1-4 & Sharpstown 5-8)
• 5:00 PM – All teams have (Stafford 1-4 & Sharpstown 5-8)
• 5:15 PM:
  • Stroke Judges meet at the diving board (meet with Stroke Judge lead Veronica Mckenzie)
  • Scorers, Data & Ribbon volunteers' setup under covered patio- Meet with Head Data – Marizela Uscanga
  • Timers and Scribes meet at pool lanes (meet with head timer Angie Bejarano)
• 5:20 PM- Announcements, Swimmers for events 1 – 5 will be called to their lanes and heating benches. We can combine if there are empty lanes.
• 5:25 PM –Welcome, Star Spangled banner
• 5:30 PM – Starts
• Break after event 30 (10min), each team should supply water to their volunteers. We'll set a blue igloo with small bottled water near the timers.
• We must finish the meet by 9:00PM so we'll have to run a tight meet. I'm hoping it shouldn't take us more than three hours to finish

Parking

Park in the parking lot directly across the pool, You may also park in the extended parking near the Stafford Centre (pool shares the parking lot with this facility) Parking is available on Stafford Pride Rd (in between the pool and the Stafford Schools.

Setup day of event

Spectators can sit anywhere around the parameter of the pool in the grassy areas so swimmers can quickly get to their lanes on both side of the pool with out tripping over people.

Other information:

Restrooms are located in the building when you walk in, Ladies to the right and Men's to the left. We have limited chairs so I recommend that all your parents and swimmers bring their lawn chairs to sit on. Bring mosquito spray. We spray the grass and the City has been sending the truck to spray the area but even with that its been brutal.

Concessions

To keep everyone fueled and hydrated, we will have a mix of grab-and-go items and delicious hamburgers and cheeseburgers grilled onsite, nachos and corn.

Mid‑Meet Break Reminder

We will take a 10‑minute break after Event #30
2nd half volunteers should use this time to get to their assigned areas. Please begin to ask them to go to their areas 5 min before the 10min is up. We'll also make an announcement.
